Experience Indonesian Culture During a Festival, Right Here in H-Town

Celebrate the Indonesian culture present here in Houston at the 2018 Annual Indonesian Festival! There, you’ll find a fashion and jewelry show, delicious food, traditional dancing, and much more! Learn more about our area’s rich cultural roots at the Indonesian Festival on Saturday, December 1st!

The theme of the 2018 Annual Indonesian Festival Houston is “Remarkable Indonesia”. Vendors will be on-site showcasing Indonesian products, including culinary finds, home goods, apparel and accessories. Live dance performances and a batik fashion show will also be included. Come mingle with neighbors and friends while learning about Indonesian tourism and Indonesia’s influence on the rich international profile of Houston.

The festival is a promotional event which will take on a “market” concept, which is inspired by the open air “Pasar” or markets typical of many in Indonesia where everyone gathers for social events, community interests, food stalls, and trade.

Day 1 will take place at Jones Plaza, while Day 2 will take place at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia. Admission for adults is 7 dollars and free for children 12 and under. For more information regarding events and to purchase your ticket, visit
